A sliding door wardrobe is the best choice when there isn't room for doors to swing open, such as next to a bed in a common bedroom. Our sliding doors use wide panels of about 900mm, so a typical wardrobe has two or three doors. Built-in sliding wardrobes start from about S$340 per foot run with delivery and installation included.
What to know about sliding door wardrobes
Saves swing space
Sliding doors need no clearance in front, so they suit rooms where a bed or desk sits close to the wardrobe.
Wide panels
Panels are about 900mm wide, giving a clean look with fewer joins across the wall.
Mirror and glass options
A mirrored sliding door doubles as a full-length mirror and makes a small room feel bigger.
One trade-off
You can only open part of the wardrobe at a time. If you want full-width access, hinged doors may suit you better.
