An HDB wardrobe is usually a built-in wardrobe that runs floor to ceiling along one bedroom wall. In newer BTO flats it is sized to the 2600mm ceiling with a 450mm top compartment; in older resale flats it is measured to walls and ceilings that may be uneven. Our HDB wardrobes start from S$340 per foot run with delivery and installation included.
What to know about HDB wardrobes
New BTO or resale
New flats have standard 2600mm ceilings. Older resale flats often vary, so we measure at several points before confirming the design.
Sized to HDB bedrooms
Common bedrooms are often tight, so sliding doors save swing space. Master bedrooms usually have room for hinged doors.
No hacking needed
A built-in wardrobe is fixed to the wall and floor and doesn't usually need structural works.
