Replacing an old wardrobe with a new custom build
Swap a worn, mouldy or badly fitted wardrobe for a new built-in wardrobe made for your room.
In short
Replacing a wardrobe in Singapore means removing the old built-in or freestanding wardrobe and installing a new custom-built one in its place. It is common in HDB resale flats and older condos, where wardrobes have swollen boards, mould, sagging doors or a layout that no longer fits. We measure the wall after checking for uneven floors and old fixings, then build a new full-height wardrobe. We do full custom builds only, not door replacement. Prices start from S$340 per foot run.
When to replace your wardrobe
Swollen or mouldy boards
Older wardrobes made with low-grade board often swell or grow mould in Singapore's humidity. Replacing the whole carcass fixes the cause.
Doors that sag or will not close
When hinges and tracks keep failing, the carcass is often out of shape. A new build is more reliable than repeated repairs.
Layout that no longer fits
A new wardrobe lets you add drawers, longer hanging or a full-height top compartment that the old one lacked.
Resale flat renovation
Most resale buyers replace wardrobes during renovation so every room has matching, full-height storage.
